Genesis 12:2 “I will make you into a great nation
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.”
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I
will curse;
and all peoples on earth will be blessed through
you.”
Apparently there are alot of Christians and even non Christians who don’t know what that means. We start here with Abraham. Well now, that pretty much tells it all, but still there are questions and people saying “Oh that doesn’t count anymore, you know there’s a new covenant.” Really, cause I can’t find that anywhere in scripture, and I’ve seen all the scriptures that replacement theology, muslims use as arguments, and they are very wrong, and this is why Jesus said in Mathew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” This blows the theory of the replacement theology based on Jeremiah out of the water. This passage in Jeremiah is talking about the Birth and Life of Jesus. Period. Now this didn’t end the questions in Paul’s day, because he goes into great detail about the danger of throwing Israel out of the covenant. In Romans 9:7 he say’s : Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned. 8. In other words, it is not the natural children who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring. 9. For this was how the promise was stated: At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.” Verse 14 say’s “What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! For he says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
Than in Romans 11 he goes on to tell us that because of their (Israel’s) trangression salvation came to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. He also compares Israel to a olive tree, and compares us as Christians to a ingrafted Branch. He say’s “if the root is holy, so are the branches. “ He say’s that we share in the nourishment from the root. He cautions here not to boast over the branches that were grafted in, he say’s “If you do consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.” He also says not to be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches he will not spare you either. Well that settles it. If we continue down this path to curse Israel, and throw her away, God will cut us off!!!! Wake up. If you continue down this slippery slope, you go to God’s wrath. I stand with Israel!!!
