Every aspect of the life and death of Jesus, gives us insight and knowledge.  The biggest of course being that He was the ultimate sacrifice, He gave His life so that we could have eternal and everlasting life.  But even the prayer’s he prayed give us so much insight, my favorite prayer He prayed is the prayer for all believers, that he prayed at the last supper, you can find this in John.  But the one I’m focused on today is the prayer He prayed in the Garden, immediately before His capture.  Mark 14:36, it was a very short prayer but it gives us so many answers to the question, “Why didn’t God answer my prayer?”  Jesus said:  “Abba, everything is possible for you.  Take this cup from me.  Yet not what I will, but what you will.”  There you have it, not our will but God’s.  We can’t as humans even begin to understand God’s will, this is where Faith comes in.  We have to trust and have Faith that God is still in control no matter what!  And whatever satan, does,  or whatever  evil happens, God uses for Good.  That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
