The rhetoric has certainly stepped up recently with the news of Palestine boldy declaring that Jerusalem is the “Eternal Capitol” of the Palestinan people.

Let’s put aside all the hateful talk, the constant bantering back and forth from the palestinians and those that back them for just a minute and take a look at what God say’s about this, not allah, not obama, not Europe, not Russia, etc.

2Chronicles 6:4  Speaking to the Israelites Solomon said the following:  “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David.  For he said, “Since the day I brought my people out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built for my Name to be there, nor have I chosen anyone to be the leader over my people Israel.  But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.”

Isaiah 65:18  But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a Joy.  (19) I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.

Joel 3:17  Then you will know that I, the Lord your God dwell in Zion, my Holy Hill.  Jerusalem will be Holy; never again will foreigners invade her.

Zechariah 8:3 This is what the Lord says, “I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem.  Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the Lord Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain.

When Zechariah talks about the Coming of Zion’s King in Chapter 9, I seriously doubt he is speaking of Abbas!  You should read the chapter that talks about this, it’s very good.  But that’s another story.

These are just a few of the many verses speaking of Jerusalem.  The King of Kings, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, The Alpha & the Omega, will rule over Jerusalem Eternally, not Abbas!  I think everyone needs to take a step back and realize this.  God is ultimately in Control of Jerusalem.  It is prophesied that the Antichrist will stand on the Holy Mountain, and declare himself to be god.  Well I don’t know about anyone else, but that hideous mosque, and Abbas’s latest quote that He will make Jerusalem the Palestinian capitol, not God, The One True God, well that is a great abomination.
