What if Revelation’s two witnesses were here today?  Revelation chapter 11 tells us that John was given a rod and was told to go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers that were there.  But he wasn’t to count the outer court because it has been given to the Gentiles to trample on the holy city for 42 months.  But what I want to talk about is the 2 witnesses who will prophesy for 1260 days.  What if they had shown up late in the fall of 2008, and had begun telling everyone that the Messiah was returning on December 21, 2012?  Would people have flocked to Jerusalem by the thousands?  Well that is exactly what is happening today, only instead of believing in Biblical prophesies people have chosen to believe in a crusty old piece of dirt that was found in a devil worshiping temple in South America.

Vampires, Zombies, UFO’s

What has amazed me for years is that if you try to tell people about the prophecies that are coming true today in the Bible, they look at you and roll their eyes, and whisper behind your back that you have lost it.  Or and this is the majority, even Pastor’s use this one; they say “Oh we can’t talk about that it will scare people.”  Really?!  Scare people?  Have you seen what types of movies and games everyone is using today?  There are blockbuster movies making millions that are based solely on the premise that Vampires, and Zombies exist today and are infiltrating society.  There are even real people that believe they are Vampires!  And that’s only the movies.  Have you seen the games lately?  Then you have the government actually warning people to prepare for a Zombie Apocolypse.   Now we have today thousands upon thousands of people flocking to temples in South America, and villages all across the world because some say devil worshipers, and yes you can call them that; who else would have human sacrifices where they ripped their hearts out, or threw them into a bottomless pit just to appease the rain god; anyway they are flocking to these sites because they believe the drivel and think the world will end at midnight on the 21st of December.  This is straight out of a science fiction movie, but you can’t make this stuff up. So why do you suppose that people would believe this and not the Bible?  Paul gives us the reason in the Bible.  2Thessalonians 9-12  “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonder, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing.  Ok here it comes, They perish because they refused to love the truth and be saved.  FOR THIS REASON GOD SENDS THEM A POWERFUL DELUSION SO THAT THEY WILL BELIEVE THE LIE AND SO THAT THEY WILL BE CONDEMNED WHO HAVE NOT BELIEVED THE TRUTH BUT HAVE DELIGHTED IN WICKEDNESS.

So Knowing That, What Will You Believe?

The truth is that Our Savior could return at any moment.  The stage is being set for the biggest battle and tribulation ever known to the world.  Are you ready to believe what has been documented in the Bible for thousands of years and has been proven true over and over, or will you believe the great and powerful delusion?  The choice is yours, but if I were you, instead of running off to caves, or mountains to hide, I would be on my knees asking God to come into my life with the truth.
