United With Israel’s Thank Israeli Soldiers party (video)

“We Stand With Israel!”

On Wednesday evening, December 12, 2012, the 5th night of Chanukah, United with Israel together with Thank Israeli Soldiers hosted a special party to honor Israeli soldiers who protect and defend the people of Israel. The event was held at the Ugdat Aza military base, located just a couple of kilometers from the border with Gaza. This base contains the central command center for Israel’s operations in Gaza and was key to Israel’s success in Operation Pillar of Defense.

The event was a huge success! American families (with lots of kids!) joined the young men and women of the IDF to celebrate both the ancient miracles of Chanukah and the modern day miracles of Israel and the IDF. Winter care packages and personal notes from supporters all over the world were presented to the soldiers, which made them very HAPPY!
