This is the fourth Gospel in the New Testament written by one of Jesus’s twelve disciples–John. Also known as the disciple that Jesus loved. It’s different from the other three Gospels in that John reports 5 miracles that are not reported by the other Gospels. It contains no parables and seems to stress Jesus’s relationships with individuals. The signs that John reports give proof that Christ is God and has supernatural powers.
