Just a short post. My heart is heavy, as I think about all the suffering and death in the world. Especially the Middle East. God has laid it on my heart to pray for all those persecuted, but he has laid an urgency on my heart for Pastor Abidini Saeed. His trial is the 20th. I know all of you feel the same urgency, as I read the comments and other blogs. Let’s unite tonight and every day for those persecuted. For the power of God’s people when they come together is mighty. Let us pray for their deliverance from the hands of their captors. Let us pray that God’s will be done, and for God to send them all, especially Pastor Adidini supernatural strength and courage. Let us pray for comfort for their families. The hand of God is with them, and He will never leave them. Let us pray for God to show Himself to their captors, as He did with Paul. Jesus said, ‘Fear not for I am with you even until the end of time.’ Psalm 27 ends with: ‘Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.’ God be with Pastor Abidini and his family.
