“As I Studied this morning, I found these 2 teachings of Jesus in Mathew. Jesus taught many things, this first one gives assurance that if we come to Him, He will give us rest from our troubles. But verse 25 say’s that We are like little children whom God revealed His Son to. I think this ties in with chapter 18, and the parable of the Lost sheep. You see, I’m so glad and grateful that when I was a lost sheep and running from God, my angels were always in heaven pleading my case. And that God did not turn His face from me. And that he searched for me and rejoiced as I was brought back. If you’ve strayed from God, come back. Let Jesus bring you back into the fold. There will be great rejoicing in Heaven. Jesus is calling, tenderly and patiently calling. Will you let Him in? Time is short. Don’t sit on the fence too long. Jump off the fence and back into Jesus’s open arms. You won’t regret it. God Bless and Keep you. He’s Coming, He’s Close, Can You Feel Him?
Rest For The Weary
Mathew 11:25-28
At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
The Parable Of The Lost Sheep
Mathew 18:10-14
10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. [11] [a]
12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
