“Oh My God! I have absolutely had it! First the disgusting Satanic ad celebrating the anniversary of Roe V Wade, and now this. I wonder if things like this have anything to do with the recent resignation of 2 Minnesota lawmakers. They were just re-elected in November and now they are resigning supposedly to take other jobs. At any rate this is absolutely terrible. We are making statues and honoring something like this, but God help us if we put the 10 commandments back up.”

Minnesota state legislators are coming under fire for legislation that would create a bust of former Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun and place it in the state legislature.
Earlier today Senators Dibble, Latz, Bonoff and Pappas introduced a bill (SF 105) to have a bust made of U. S. Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun to be placed on the second floor of our Capitol. Blackmun is responsible for the Supreme Court decision Roe vs. Wade that legalized the killing of innocent unborn children nationwide.
The major pro-life group in the state is not happy with the idea of honoring the man who authored the Roe v. Wade opinion that led to nearly 56 million abortions. Scott Fischbach, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life Executive Director, told LifeNews:
“Legislation introduced today (S.F. 105) to place a bust of former Justice Harry Blackmun, author of the infamous 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision legalizing abortion on demand, ought to be rejected by the Legislature.
“Placing a statue of the individual who wrote the U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized the killing of more than half a million unborn children in Minnesota is extremist and divisive. The newly elected leadership in the Legislature has stated that they want to focus on jobs and education for the people of our state — not placing statues of extremists that divide Minnesotans in Capitol alcoves.
