“This is one of the strangest stories I’ve found, it hints at something that reminds me of the new Denver International Airport.  If you hadn’t heard about this, take a look.  There’s just an awful lot of strange news coming to light.”

Founded in 1999, ‘oneworld’ is one of the world’s three largest global airline alliances with its central management team, Oneworld Management Company, based in New York City, in the US.

“For Malaysia Airlines, joining the alliance would strengthen its competitiveness, enabling it to offer customers an unrivalled alliance global network served by the highest quality partners from each of the world’s key regions,” Malaysia Airlines Group CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said in a statement.

Malaysia Airlines serves more than 60 destinations in almost 30 countries across Asia, Australasia, Middle East, Europe, and North America, including oneworld hubs Hong Kong, London Heathrow, Los Angeles, Sydney and Tokyo Narita with 88 aircraft including Airbus A380s.
