Freedom of Speech in Islam ?

“I found this video from Walid Shoebat foundation to be very interesting.  Watch how this person explains the concept of freedom of speech  in Islamic terms.  Then it got me to thinking, that is not far from what they are trying to take away from us here, that and many other freedoms.  Then I opened the Bible, and found this:  Galatians 4:31  ‘Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.  Chpt. 5:1 ‘It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.  Stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.’  So I really don’t understand why we even have the conversation about freedom of speech.  Although we are cautioned against slander, hate speech, etc by the Bible,( James 3:9, Jude 9) we are not bound by a heavy yoke of fear to speak our minds regarding our God or false god’s.  This is just one of many of the false teachings that accompany a belief in a false god.  There are many warnings in the Bible regarding false teachers, and  false religions.  This is just another reason why we should not inter-mingle our faith and theirs.”
