Is There More To Balaam Than A False Prophet And His Talking Donkey?

My attention was brought to the story of Balaam and Balaak. I searched and searched for months and couldn’t really find much. I found all sorts of funny videos about Balaam and his donkey, and pastor’s would tell me, move along, nothing to see there, only a story about a false prophet and his donkey that saw an angel. I didn’t give up, because I just knew there had to be more of a lesson than that. I finally found several things, and with God’s guidance I learned that Balaam thought he was pretty tricky. After all, his powers came basically from satan. Greed does not ever win. And I think that we can learn from the story of Balaam that we are to resist the temptations of satan, no matter what form they come in. Such as a president or a king listening to a false prophet on how to get God’s people to themselves turn God against them

As the body of Christ, we are to pray together as one. We are to recognize that evil is overtaking the world, regardless of what shape it takes. The body of satan’s church is coming together also. Don’t think it’s not. It comes together in many forms. The evil leaders that are in the world today are rising to great power; from No. Korea, China, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Iraq, Pakistan, Turkey, well you get the point. Satan has gotten very smart, he hasn’t left one detail unattended. He thought he had it during WW2 but the world realized and fought against it. It left just enough of a remnant to build the world that we live in today. Satan mirror’s everything God does! Can satan form a church or a body like the body of Christ? Don’t dismiss any possibilities when it comes to satan. He is the father of lies, he was a murderer from the beginning. Jesus warns of this. He can present himself as an angel of light to deceive many. And he has. Look at all the religions and false god’s he has introduced to the world. He has even convinced the Body Of Christ to follow these, the same way that Balaam convinced Balak to entice the Israelites so that God would curse them himself. You see Balaam knew better than to curse the Israelites, he knew that the only way to curse them would be for Balak to entice them into worshiping another god, so that God would himself curse them, and that’s just what He did. You can read about this several places in the Bible. In Numbers and even John mentions this in Revelation, so if it’s in Revelation we should pay attention. The following is from wiki-pedia(I picked this as a secular site on purpose, so it wouldn’t be colored by opinion):

St John, while prophesying from the isle of Patmos, had this to say of Balaam:”There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality.” (Revelation 2:14) Evidently, Balaam returned to King Balak and explained how he was unable to curse the Israelites due to God having control of his tongue, but instead explained to the king on how he could get the Israelites to curse themselves, thereby removing the protection God had on them. He counseled that King Balak and his people ensnare God’s chosen people by offering them prostitutes and unclean food sacrificed to idols. This worked, because Numbers 31:16 states: “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the LORD in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the LORD’s people.” It was this incident that made Balaam so evil in the eyes of some Jews and Israelis; specifically, St. Jude claimed that the way of Balaam was an error and the same as murdering one’s brother, as Cain had done (Jude 1:11). While St. Peter claimed that Balaam loved the wages of wickedness, which caused him to wander from the straight path (2 Peter 2:15).

Deuteronomy 23:3–6 summarises these incidents, and further states that the Ammonites were associated with the Moabites. Joshua, in his farewell speech, also makes reference to it.

With God’s protection taken from him, Balaam is later listed amongst the Midianites who were killed in revenge for the “matter of Peor”, which is where Balaam showed King Balak how to trap the Israelites so that God might destroy them.

Did you get that? The Israelites were inticed to eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality. So we can see what the body of satan is doing right now, with our country and the rest of the world. Sexual immorality is increasing, we have interfaith movements all over in the name of peace. This might sound crazy, but we also have our food being sacrificed to allah right under our noses. There are many parts of the body of satan at work in the world today. Busy infiltrating the churches, moving all through the land (world) convincing people if they follow him he will give them the world. This is what he promised Jesus remember. But Jesus rebuked Him with the ‘Word’ of God. But he’s gotten alot better at this. There are many groups following after satan because of these promises. Look at some of the entertainers today. Beyonce was actually satanic in her performance at the super bowl. Alicia Keys sang a song to obama that did everything but declare him god. And in essence she might have. Some things that sound like conspiracy theories might just be deceptions of satan convincing others they will rule the world, if they just do what he say’s. So let’s not discount these but keep an understanding that this is satan at work.

We need to be watching, or we will be lulled into a false sense of security and sleep by satan, so that while we’re asleep he can run amok instituting his final push for domination. Remember satan said “I’ll raise my throne above your’s”to God. So let’s not sleep, or slumber under the false sense of security . A Complacent attitude actually helps satan to bring about his end result. Do you think maybe that’s why we’ve got the mess we’ve got today? Do you think maybe, just maybe that’s why so many Christians remain silent and even voted for a man who is pushing satan’s agenda? I do. So my main point is to recognize what times we’re in. Don’t let satan distract or entice you. Jesus gives us many signs to watch for. Know that He is indeed returning, recognize that we are very close, things are coming together very fast. I just don’t see any man coming to the rescue. WW2 ended because the nations lead by the US said ENOUGH and ended it. I don’t see that happening, the US has gone too far into the body of satan to pull out.

The 6th seal will open, and the 6th trumpet will sound someday soon, and with these comes a global earthquake that makes every island and mountain move out out of their places, the sky will recede like a scroll, and the four angels at the river Euphrates will be released along with a supernatural? army, that will kill 1/3 of mankind. And the anti-christ and his kingdom will come to power. So, since we know all this, let’s come together in prayer, and witness, nurturing one another, and pray without ceasing for our brother’s and sister’s in persecution. Witness to everyone who will listen, and rejoice and look up for our redemption draws near. Keep a close eye on the middle east as the alignments there are almost finished. Turkey has to be brought into the power grid. I’m not too concerned about obama making a peace deal with Israel, I’m more concerned about him dividing the land there by forcing Israel into a land for peace deal. Because that always brings judgement to us. So there’s a few things to keep an eye on. And remember all this just brings us 1 day closer to the return of our Lord.“Yes I am coming soon.” Amen.
