If Chuck Hagel is so bad that Republicans felt they had to make history by filibustering his appointment to be Secretary of Defense, then how many Republicans will still vote to confirm him?

How many Republicans understand that someone who is working towards “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” is someone who fundamentally rejects the United States of America?

Does Chuck Hagel understand that if he were truly worthy of being Secretary of Defense, Obama would never have chosen him?

Hagel is a very questionable character, but it looks like some Republican Democrats like John McCain and Lindsay Graham are prepared to throw in the towel and give Obama what he wants. We’ll see.
