“The following is an excerpt from an article on Fox News Titled ‘Americans can endure bigger budget cuts than government can handle.’ How true is that?”

“If you compare [the sequester cuts] to sacrifices a regular family has had to make, you’re talking about the money you find in your couch cushions,” said Larry Winget, the best-selling author of “You’re Broke Because You Want to Be.”

“When regular folks need to cut the household budget, they get rid of their toys, their cable TV, eating out,” Winget continued. “If they can make those kind of cuts, the federal government ought to be able to.”

“I did a little research.  And I think that cuts should start here!”

• There are 535 in the Senate and the House the average salary is $179,000.  The speaker of the house makes $223,000, the Majority Leader is $193,400, the Minority leader is 193,400 also.
• In addition to the salary they have Retirement and Health benefits, that most Americans only dream of.  Granted they do have to serve for 5 years before eligible for pension.
• The President earns 400,000 per year and $50,000 expense allowance with a $10,000 travel allowance. (I think his travel allowance was spent on his first week in office, so who’s paying for all these trips? The vacations, the campaigning?)
• The Vice President makes 230,700.
• The First Lady doesn’t receive a salary but she does get a budget and staff.

“So, how about we cut all these salaries down to about 1/4 of what they make, level the playing field so to speak.  We cut their food budget down by 1/2.  To equal the sacrifices that the people are making.  How about we take the First Lady’s secretary and other staff away.  How about they make sacrifices like we have.  How about no more vacations until they can correct their extravagant spending spree’s.  And this doesn’t even begin to get into all the idiotic spending and pork.  You know like the one where they spent ungodly amounts of money to make bridges and bypasses for turtles.  How about where they spent ungodly amounts to study how cow’s emitting flatulence affected the atmosphere! How about the 6 million promised to rebels in Syria, how about all the money and military equipment going to Egypt? Give me a break.  These Congressmen and women, need to realize that their people are suffering, and they could care less.  Every man and woman from the President down has shown blatant disregard for this country, the people, and the morals, rights, & laws that our country was founded on.”

“These people and their elite, ‘Let them eat cake’ attitude is growing very weary.  They set out to destroy America and the middle class, the working class and that is just what they have done.  They’ve installed their socialistic ideologies into every aspect of our lives.  How about they have to give an account every quarter of their expenses, (personal and business) and make it available to the public for review?”

“They need to come out of their Ivory Towers, and take a good hard look at the shape that America is in.  They need to take their blinders off and actually look at the disintegrating state that our infrastructure is in.  They need to understand what they have done.  But sadly they will not.  They don’t care.  They are so narcissistic and twisted in their satanic beliefs that they have sold America, not only to the highest bidder, but to the devil himself.  This has been the plan all through our history, to one day have a new world order where the elites rule, and the people that make it through crisis, and population control, can serve them forever.”

“If your just waking up and realizing that we have been lied to for decades, and that the government no longer has the interest of the American people at heart, it will be shocking for you.  There is hope, no matter how much power they think they have, no matter how many evil plans they have to make themselves like god’s.  The one true God is still on the throne!  He is the one we should fear, He is the one we are to run to for our help, for our comfort, and for guidance.  Not these evil leaders.  So while they weave all their evil webs, in their bids to take over the world, we can find comfort in our Lord and Savior, and the knowledge in Daniel Chapter 7.”  ‘As I looked the thrones were set in place and the Ancient of Days took His seat….
