Tensions were high in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as US President Barack Obama landed in Israel on Wednesday. As Obama surveyed the Israeli honour guard in Tel Aviv, Palestinians in the West Bank city of Hebron clashed with Israeli police and Jewish settlers as they protested against the Obama visit. In Gaza, protesters burnt American flags and posters of the US president in front of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) headquarters
