Cypriots stock up on supplies in Nicosia on Saturday, fearing the financial crisis may lead to shortages. Meanwhile, employees of Cyprus’ two largest banks hold a demonstration before marching on the presidential palace. Averof Neophytou, deputy leader of the ruling Democratic Rally party, claims ‘things are going in the right direction’, ahead of the president’s eurozone bailout talks in Brussels on Sunday
