There has been much talk in the news and Christian Circuits about the Kingdom of God.  There are many views, the most popular being that everyone will go to Heaven and receive the Kingdom, there are many paths to Heaven, and so on.  But what did Jesus say about this.  We know He said, “I am the way the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me.”  So what about all those who think that as long as they believe that Jesus was the savior, they will go to Heaven, and what about all those who think that Jesus will greet everyone with a big hug and welcome them no matter what they believe?  This parable told by Jesus say’s it all and speaks for itself.  So once again, we can learn from the Messiah’s teachings.  I’ll let the Parable (teaching) speak for itself.  If you adopt the above ways of thinking you might be surprised.

Matthew 13:47-52  The Parable Of The Net

• Once again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish.  
• When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore.  Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away.
• This is how it will be at the end of the age.  The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous, 
• and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  
• Have you understood all these things?
