About Joel Osteen Resigning.  I’ve left both posts about this, so you could read them both.  The announcement about the resigination came from what appeared to be Joel Osteen Ministries page.  It was very detailed, and graphic.  Then I posted the revealing of the hoax.  It appears that someone hacked and attacked Joel Osteen.  Although I dont’ agree with his teachings, this sickened me greatly.  If this had turned out to be true the implications would have been horrific.  The resignation cited lack of faith, and the fact that the Bible was corrupted.  There was no hell, because a loving God would not send anyone to hell.  It tied him in with other new age teachings by Oprah, thanking her and Larry King for supporting him over the years.  It even gave detailed quotes from his church memebers.

Needless to say this would have cause a ripple that would never quit.  Many people would have been in doubts, and fall away.  It would have shaken Christianity to the core.  This was not funny.  If someone wished to point out his leanings toward new age, and false teachings this was not the way to do it!  I for one am praying, because Satan wants nothing better than to destroy the body of Christ, and what better way to do it.  If you’ve been reading this blog you know my opinion of Joel Osteens teachings.  But that doesn’t excuse what someone did.  This was evil pure and simple.  I left both posts so you could see the extent of the attacks beginning on Christianity.  Pray for God to protect His children.
