Boston–the prophetic future of America?

My Comment:  Amen, Amen, Amen!

Watching the aftermath of the Boston terrorist bombing is a glimpse into the future of America if we do not turn our nation back to the Lord. Psalm 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” Boston, once the example of righteous defiance to the world, overnight became a disarmed people cowering in their homes while the government shut down their communities over a manhunt for a wounded 19 year old. Then, when he is found, the people rejoice as if the government was their savior. Surreal?

Irrespective of the circumstances leading up the manhunt, the government exercised complete control over a major city and surrounding area. There are murders every day and criminals disappearing into the shadows, but life goes on. Then, an attack, an ensuing manhunt and more danger lurking in the crevasses of darkness in the streets. The government sends in heavy armor, boots on the ground, and tells the people it cannot protect them so they need to hide in their homes while the police state methodically does its work. The people are in harm’s way if they have no personal protection; they are in legal trouble if they defend themselves and the authorities find out. The government has controlled them.

What is the end game here? There are so many questions unanswered. With all the security around the Boston Marathon, all the bomb sniffing dogs, all the expert counterterrorist specialists, a couple of kids sneak bombs into the finish line? It does not make sense. Has America been taken over by some sort of coup? The government has done little if nothing to protect the public–selling guns to Mexican drug cartels, refusing to enforce laws against illegal aliens, trying to disarm law abiding Americans, destroying the long term viability of the economy by spending money it doesn’t have in propping up Wall Street, giving amnesty, cell phones, and medical care to illegal aliens, refusing to support marriage laws, and the list goes on.

People are celebrating how Bostonians “cooperated” with authorities by submitting to undeclared martial law in a manhunt for a wounded 19 year old while the FBI reports there are 16 violent crimes in Boston every day and the government is unable or unwilling to address it. Bostonians and the rest of America need to wake up. This brand of government is not your savior, it is your enslaver. America is being lulled into and desensitized to complying with evil and evil intent. Galatians 5:1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” That yoke broken at Jamestown and Plymouth is returning unless we stand fast.

PS. Authorities are now saying that the Boston bombers did not have a valid handgun license–proving the point that disarmament benefits criminals not the law abiding citizen.

Have A Blessed And Powerful Day,
