This is a very interesting photo of what I would characterize as the clock tower of the beast. The tiny black cube beneath the crescent moon at the apex of this tower is the Kaba. J
“An incredible photo has surfaced on the social networking site Twitter that appears to be taken from the above the very top of the Abraj Al-Bait tower in Mecca, also known as the Mecca Royal Hotel Clock Tower.
The tower is the second tallest in the world, behind only the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.”
Saudi Arabia’s king Abdullah has declared that all Muslim countries should make the time kept by this clock tower the basis of their time rather than Greenwich Mean Time which used to be the accepted basis for time zones around the world.
