‘What Is My Beloved Doing In My Temple?’

Jeremiah 5:21

  • Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear:
  • Should you not fear me? declares the Lord.
  • Should you not tremble in my presence?
  • I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross.
  • The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it.
  • But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts;  they have turned aside and gone away.
  • They do not say to themselves, Let us fear the Lord our God.

Ok, I don’t know how to wake up the sheeple, but wake up!  God know’s that you know right from wrong, and he knows your remaining silent.  There is a reason that Jeremiah gave this warning.  It still applies.  Do you know what happened this week?  The media raked a sports player over the coals for writing John 3:16 on his face and praying at a game, and then they CELEBRATED when another sports player came out of the closet and announced he was gay.  The president and first lady even celebrated with him, and the first lady said congratulations we’ve got your back!  The next day the Pentagon say’s that if you testify and share your faith in the military you will be tried and courtmartialed!  Yet the muslims in this country are pushing for Sharia law in many states, and the churches are falling in line with this, and worshiping in some instances with them.  What in the world is going on with our country!?

Jeremiah also say’s :  ‘Among my people are wicked men who lie in wait like men who snare birds and like those who set traps to catch men.  Like cages full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; they have become rich and powerful and have grown fat and sleek.  Their evil deeds have no limit; they do not plead the case of the fatherless to win it, they do not defend the rights of the poor.  Should I not punish them for this?  Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?’

Look at what the president said last week:  ‘god bless planned parenthood!’  The godless abortion/murder/torture factories.  I did not capitilize god because the god he invoked was a false god such as molech or baal.  If you look at how he said it, and what he said, he in effect declared himself to be god and blessed the murder of babies.  The above from Jeremiah refers to today, his words they do not plead the case of the fatherless, applies to this also.  Do you think God will be happy that you remained silent?  Even if you don’t believe in Christ’s soon return, you have to know that the Bible say’s we will all stand before God at some point and give account.  Do you really want to stand before Him and explain why you bowed the knee to baal (government) and not to Him?

In Jeremiah chapter 11 God say’s this:

  • Do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them, because I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their distress.
  • What is my beloved doing in my temple
  • as she works out her evil schemes with many?
  • Can consecrated meat avert your punishment?
  • when you engage in your wickedness,
  • then you rejoice.

Do you think that God is not going to judge and send judgement on this wicked nation?  God know’s what the churches of today are doing, He know’s full well, they are remaining silent while persecution of Christians are increasing.  He knows that they don’t care.  And they don’t!  If they did they would be speaking out and taking a stand instead of cowering and bowing their knees to baal.  And yes that’s just what they are doing.   Do you think that you don’t have to worry because we live in America and God loves us more?  Do you really think that we are going to escape what our brothers and sisters in Christ are experiencing?  Do you not see the attacks on Christianity right now?  Do you not see that soon unless you fall in line with the entertaining churches and the one world religion than you will be persecuted?  Do you not see that?  It’s happening faster than even I thought it would.  Does your pastor teach Revelation?  Does he tell you that in Revelation 3:15 Jesus is telling the church ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot, I wish you were one or the other!  So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.  You say I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.  But you do not realize that you are WRETCHED, PITIFUL, POOR, BLIND AND NAKED.’

Maybe you don’t think that applies to you or your church surely not.  Well wake up!  It does!  Jeremiah asks the question ‘What will you do in the end?’  So what will you do in the end?  Are you ready to take a stand for God and Jesus?  You think you don’t have to?  It’s time, it’s time to do what Paul said in Ephesians chapter 6.  Put on the full armor of God, and take a stand, and stand firm!  This means take a stand against the evil and wicked practices in the land as well as a stand against the god of this world and his demons.

Take a stand, open your eyes wide and see what is really going on!  Jesus said there will be great distress in the last days and immediately after the distress of those days we will see Him coming on the clouds, are you ready?  Are you ready to stand up and say ‘I Am Not Ashamed of  Christ? ‘  Are you ready to see tribulation and persecution?  You need to prepare.   We are the temple of God.  You know that.  Or at least you should.  So What is God’s Beloved doing in His Temple?

  2. Lamentations 5 seems appropriate uaing present languish(sic):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGMG_PVaJoI: David Wilkerson’s sermon titled ‘Anguish’, May 2009.

    The Final Anguish or Languish
–Our grandparents told us about you, but now, God is too far away and society is fallen down.
–My parents used to own expensive items, but the foreigners now own those things.
–Our fathers were killed in the wars and our mothers are but weeping widows.
–Since the sequestration, we now must pay too much for clean water and cost of energy is through the roof.
–The overlords hate us when we look into their eyes, and they push us to work harder.
–We must walk for miles to find a grocery store for staples.
–Our parents spent too much for stuff they couldn’t afford, and we are stuck with their debt.
–We wanted to get wealthy like them, so we borrowed loans for rich educations, but we became indentured slaves.
–We have no means of defense, and the aliens have guns and swords.
–Many of us are killed while we forage for food. The days are always too hot or cold. Our
tongues are dry and bellies stuck hard against our backbones.
–Women are frequently raped in broad day light or in the dark alleys in the towns.
–Former important officials are nailed on walls or trees. What’s more, the elders are always jeered and spit upon.
–The young boys harvest grain, grind wheat, and carry heavy wood upon our bent backs.
–The old men wander from their families, and the the young men sing no more.
–Our happiness is gone and we mourn more than we dance.
