Topic: WND.com founder and President Joseph Farah tells Rick why he is calling for a National Day of Prayer and Fasting on September 11, 2013. Later in the program, Pastor Chris Steinle and Rick discuss whether the USA has already crossed the line in avoiding divine judgment.
You’ll want to hear this, they talk about the judgements coming to America, and how they feel we’ve crossed a line, a line that we can’t get back over. I agree. I felt it very strong over the last couple of weeks. It was a feeling that’s hard to describe. One of those feelings that you know is coming from God himself. He is pleading for His people to return to Him. If you look at the history of God’s people in the old testament, and how He warned them time and time again, before He sent His judgements. You’ll see that we are over that line where we as a nation can turn back the judgements. We’ve celebrated & blessed murder of children, we’ve celebrated and blessed homosexual behavior, we’ve instituted plans and policies that will prevent us from sharing God, and Jesus. We’ve made covenants with evil regimes like the Muslim Brotherhood, and others. It’s like reading the Bible. Time after time in the Bible God’s people worshiped other god’s, they condoned the same behaviors that we are condoning today, look at King Solomon, look at Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles chapter 20. He called a national day of fasting and prayer when enemies were close, and God blessed them, he destroyed their enemies. Then in his later years he made a covenant with a wicked King, and God destroyed everything he had done. The Bible is replete with instances like this. Read 2 Chronicles chapter 20. Read about King Saul, and King Solomon, that’s a start. Read Isaiah.
We’re heading fast to God’s judgement, remember when he sent judgement on the world He saved Noah and His family, when he sent Judgement to Sodom and Gommorah he saved Lot and his family. He will protect those who earnestly seek Him, the individual who is truly repentant, He will protect, He will shield those who rest in Him and fear Him. He is coming to judge, and purify the Body of Christ, to ready the bride for the Bridegroom. As Jeremiah say’s ‘What will you do in the end?’ It’s time to decide, it’s time to take a stand.
