You know I never thought in my wildest dreams I’d see the things that I’m seeing now.  Sin is so rampant, it runs in the streets.  If you’ve ever seen a house overrun with weeds and vines, that’s what is happening to our country.  Evil has overtaken it to the point you can’t see the foundation.

Jesus tells a parable about ‘The Sower’  in Matthew 13.  Some of the seeds the man sowed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.  I feel like that is what we’re seeing now.  In earlier day’s seed was sown on rock’s and that plant that grew withered for lack of water (knowledge) through the years.  Then there was the seed among thorns, in the latest years, and then some fell on good ground and actually produced a hundred times what it should have.  However the thorns, and the weeds have overtaken the good crop.  Then Jesus told his disciples why he spoke in parables:  ‘Though seeing they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.  In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:  You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.  For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.  Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears,understand with their hearts and turn and I would heal them.’

After Jesus told them that they could see, he explained the parable of the sower to them:  ‘When anyone hears the message about the Kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his hear.  This is the seed sown along the path.  The one who received seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.  But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time.  When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.  The thorns is the man who hears the word but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful.  The one on good soil, is the man that hears and understands the word.’  It’s very important to build your foundation on good soil, spend time in the word, asking for understanding.  Your going to need that understanding, and you want a solid ground to stand on, because there is a shaking coming that will shake your very soul!  I don’t know how much time will pass before before God’s punishment will be meted out.  But I feel it’s sooner than later.  It seems that a lot of the other watchers are getting the same message and warning.  I read an article that said when the spire went to the top of the new Freedom Tower, that it was declared, see you tore it down and we made it stronger.  This is bad.  God does not like the haughty or the proud, it’s in the Bible.  I won’t get into that because I’ve covered that before and the information about God’s warnings to America is plentiful.  

What I want to do is let you know what God promises to His people that have turned to Him for help and healing as Jesus said above.  In Isaiah he gives us this:

• Go, my people, enter your rooms, and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until His wrath has passed by.
• See, the Lord is coming out of His dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
• The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer.  (This includes abortion, their blood cries out as did Abel’s blood in Genesis)

Isaiah also tells us this:  ‘ Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord is the Rock eternal.’

Pray daily as Jesus said that you will be able to stand before the Son Of Man.  And Know that we have hope, and promise of protection.  Build your foundation on the Lord.  And weed your garden daily, to keep the thorns and weeds out.  Be careful what you allow into your head, heart, and soul.  It just may be Satan in disguise to steal your joy.  It’s time to get ready, it’s time to wake up, wake up and examine your foundation for holes and cracks, pull the tares, weeds, and vines away from your house.  If you don’t Satan will lead you astray.  Get ready, for He is coming soon.
