It is to prepare believers for the coming Rapture, by perfecting them and conforming them to the image of Christ. God sent Jesus Christ to save us from our sins Jn3:16. Then after Jesus went back to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to complete God’s plan for mankind, and in us! Jesus said ‘My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work’ Jn4:34.
