Many say they understand what a Gift was given us by the death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But few totally understand it.  Everyone here know’s what a great Gift we were given.  But the world does not.  Jesus predicted this, as did the Apostles.  Jesus said ‘I do not give as the world gives.’  But what does that mean?   Paul did extensive teaching on the Law of Moses and why we are not under that law, and this is in no way an in depth study of that I leave that to the scholars.  But this is what I received while studying and listening to the world and it’s religion try to explain why the Bible is evil and corrupt.  I have not done years of study, but I’ve spent years praying and reading God’s word and listening to the Spirit.  I get it all the time; Why do you quote Leviticus where people are to be stoned, why do you quote the Old Testament that was done away with.  Well that just show’s those who say that do not understand the Gift Jesus gave us, or God’s word.  I’m going to get right to it.  Here is a video of obama mocking the Bible and God’s word.  This is very typical of people today.

This clearly show’s this man does not know the first thing about God or His word.  Or the gift given us by Jesus.  Unfortunately this view is everywhere even in the church.   Jesus came to fulfill the law this is true.  He came so that we would not live under oppression or slavery any longer.  He came so the Holy Spirit of God would live inside us all.  He demonstrated this when he approached the woman about to be stoned for adultery.  And He asked the question,’Who among you is without sin, let him cast the first stone.’  Then He told the woman, ‘Your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more.’  WHAT A GIFT WE WERE GIVEN!

His blood that was shed on Calvary paid our price for sin!  Does this mean that we don’t need the Old Testament?  As most suggest?  NO!!! It doesn’t!  God say’s ‘I MAKE KNOWN THE END FROM THE BEGINNING!’  We are to learn from the ancients, but are learning nothing.  Are you beginning to see what a gift Jesus gave us?  God sent His Son into the world to pay a price for us.  And we thumb our noses at it, or at least the world does.  They mock it, they twist it, they lie about it.

There is an article from WND that was done in 2008 that covered obama’s remarks about Gay marriage and the Apostle Paul being a bigot.  I encourage you to read it, it will surprise you.  Unfortunately he and the world have convinced many of the Body of Christ that the Bible and God’s inerrant word is fallible, and wrong.  Wrong about sin, wrong about the very things that God warned us about.  Wrong about the punishment for sin.  Jesus said the punishment for sin is death.  But through him, acceptance and repentance we will have eternal life with Him and the Father.  Look at Sodom and Gommorah.  Look at the punishment there, and look down through history at all the empires that mirrored this.  What happened to them?  Where are they today?  Buried.  We are still uncovering remnants of their existence through Archaeology.

Jesus gave us freedom, He gave us the greatest gift God could ever give His children and those who follow Him.  But what did we do with that gift?  We’ve twisted it into something unrecognizable, we’ve twisted it to fit the world and world views instead of the other way around.  How wicked we’ve become!
