Why Are Millions Of Egyptians Signing Petitions To Remove Morsi, While Obama Is Supporting Him?

More than 22 million people have signed a petition in Egypt demanding the departure of Islamist President Mohamed Morsi and a snap election, the opposition Tamarod (Arabic for rebellion) group said on Saturday.

According to France 24 :

AFP – More than 22 million people have signed a petition in Egypt demanding the departure of Islamist President Mohamed Morsi and a snap election, the opposition Tamarod (Arabic for rebellion) group said on Saturday.”Our petition has gathered 22,134,465 signatures,” Tamarod spokesman Mahmud Badr told journalists on the eve of Sunday’s first anniversary of Morsi’s inauguration when it has called for nationwide protests. This figure is higher than the number of people who voted for Morsi in last year’s presidential election — 13.23 million, or 51.7 percent of the ballots cast.Previously, Tamarod said 15 million people in Egypt had signed the petition demanding that the president step aside.Morsi supporters have dismissed the petition as invalid, insisting that only elections can decide whether a head of state stays or goes. His term of office is due to end in 2016.

Remember this?  This is the speech that obama made after Mubarak stepped down.

And after Morsi was elected obama praised him and said they would work closely with him.  Here is a quote from that speech “And we will stand with the Egyptian people as they pursue their aspirations for democracy, dignity, and opportunity, and fulfill the promise of their revolution.”  Well if we’re standing with the Egyptian people than why are we allowing the brutality of the muslim brotherhood to supress the people even more than Mubarak?  Why are 2 million Egyptians wanting Morsi to step down?  Why is obama still praising the muslim brotherhood and morsi?  We have been duped also (at least those asleep and mesmermized)  into believing the Arab spring was all about hope and change for Egypt, when in reality there was a much darker purpose, and now the Egyptians are waking up to a nightmare.  And we are supporting the very regime responsible.  Look at this from 2010 this is morsi’s view on policy in the middle east and peace with Israel:

morsi thinks Israel is full of ‘apes and pigs’.  Incredible!  And obama is supporting this financially and with weapons, and not only that the US has sent troops to Egypt to help control the very people we vowed to stand with!  Time to wake up America!

In January of this year Jim Inhoffe complained loudly that Egypt was not holding up it’s bargain for promoting peace and wanted all aide to cease, but was shot down.  Read about it here.  So the question still remains why are we doing this, especially when the majority of Egyptians want their HOPE AND CHANGE BACK!  But like Americans who have woken up to despair and change  are now hoping they can turn back the clock.  Oh if only.  Hindsight is 20/20.  How blind we are.  Daniel explains this very well:  Daniel 7:25  ‘He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law.’

Prophecy is unfolding rapidly now, we’re already in the tribulation, have been for quite a while, but if you want to believe that we’re not than it’s your decision, but the watchmen have been sounding the trumpets for a long time.  So you should really heed the call and at the very least search out the scriptures with guidance from God, and get ready, for it is going to get worse, much worse.

  1. May God have mercy on all of us, though undeserving as we all are! I especially agree with your last paragraph.

Many have their heads in the sand hiding in ignorance or are fearful, hoping the bad dream is going away. The false prophets say things will get better, but they don’t know the scriptures about the signs of the end times. Jesus said that the whole world will be in turmoil and distress and “when these things begin to come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.” Luke 21:31.
