AUSTIN – Texas police have confiscated numerous jars of feces and urine, paint, tampons, maxi pads and even bricks that pro-abortion activists had planned to throw at pro-life lawmakers who are preparing to pass a late-term abortion ban in the state, according to reports.

The protesters have littered the state Capitol building with orange papers shaped like footprints that state, “Maternal death from illegal abortion.”

“Stand with Texas Women” protesters have been spotted wearing diapers filled with toilet paper they presumably intended to throw at members of the Senate. Several witnesses confirmed that toilet paper disappeared from most women’s restrooms at the Capitol, and pro-abortion activists were seen stuffing bags with tampons, fecal matter, urine  and other items.

The Texas Department of Safety was contacted with the information, and has since been performing searches of all bags and other containers, forming large lines outside of the State Senate chamber with trash cans. The department issued a statement Friday about the items it had confiscated from the protesters:

“The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today received information that individuals planned to use a variety of items or props to disrupt legislative proceedings at the Texas Capitol.

“Therefore for safety purposes, DPS recommended to the Texas Senate that all bags be inspected prior to allowing individuals to enter the Senate gallery, which the Texas Senate authorized.

“During these inspections, DPS officers have thus far discovered one jar suspected to contain urine, 18 jars suspected to contain feces, and three bottles suspected to contain paint. All of these items – as well as significant quantities of feminine hygiene products, glitter and confetti possessed by individuals – were required to be discarded; otherwise those individuals were denied entry into the gallery.
“In the interest of the safety and security of Texas legislators and the general public, these inspections will continue until the conclusion of Senate business.”

When the state Senate prepared to cast its vote on the late-term abortion ban, LifeNews reported pro-abortion mobs planned to throw tampons and pads at pro-life legislators.

The protesters also threatened to “flash their lady parts” at lawmakers, according to Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood abortion business director.

Some shouted, “F— the church!”

WND has also been informed that many of the pro-choice protesters are from other states.

“Orange shirts,” as they’ve been called by many observers, have been arriving on buses at the West gate entrance of the Texas Capitol since 1 a.m., said Michelle Smith, state director for Concerned Women of America.

Morgan Nacomb, a citizen pro-life activist, said she’s met hundreds of protesters who are from “other states.” A requirement of committee testimony is that those speaking have a Texas driver’s license. In spite of larger numbers, those giving testimony against the legislation barely exceeded 1,000 people, said Morgan. Those speaking for the legislation numbered more than 2,000.

Some pro-abortion protesters were reportedly paid for their antics. An advertisement on Craigslist.org sought full-time activists to earn $1,300-$2,200 a month to “educate the public and identify new supporters to protect reproductive rights.”

Pro-life crowds, who had been praising God with worship songs during a rally, said pro-abortion protesters “forced their way to the front and started to blast music to disrupt while dancing with vile and sexually explicit signs with children present.”

As WND reported just last week, pro-life activists sang “Amazing Grace” as they were surrounded by a group of pro-abortion activists who chanted, “Hail Satan!” in response.

The first of the voices can be heard at about the 3:35 mark of the following video, a portion of the speech delivered by a pro-life advocate identified only as “Ashley.” By the 5:15 mark, however, the droning chant of several voices can be heard clearly.

The Daily Texan recently reported one woman read a disturbing poem to lawmakers titled, “If My Vagina Was a Gun”:

If my vagina was a gun, you would stand for its rights,
You would ride on buses and fight all the fights.
If my vagina was a gun, you would treat it with care,
You wouldn’t spill all its secrets because, well, why go there.
If my vaginas was a gun, you’d say what it holds is private
From cold, dead hands we could pry, you surely would riot.
If my vagina was a gun, its rights would all be protected,
no matter the body count or the children affected.
If my vagina was a gun, I could bypass security,
concealed carry laws would ensure I’d have impunity.
If my vagina was a gun, I wouldn’t have to beg you,
I could hunt this great land and do all the things men do.
But my vagina is not a gun, it is a mightier thing,
With a voice that rings true making lawmakers’ ears ring.
Vaginas are not delicate, they are muscular and magic,
So stop messing with mine, with legislation that’s tragic.
My vagina’s here to demand from the source,
Listen to the voices of thousands or feel their full force.

Pro-abortion activists even used the term “blood-sucking parasite” to refer to an unborn fetus in response to pro-life testimony of individuals who have survived abortions.

The efforts went so far as to recruit children to carry signs such as “Every child a wanted child.” Another was much more graphic: “If I wanted the government in my womb, I would f*** a senator!”

LifeNews reported a woman tweeted a photo of a little boy holding a sign declaring, “Stay out of my mommy’s vagina.”

Another young girl held a sign declaring, “Jesus isn’t a d–k, so keep him out of my vagina.”
