“A People Set Apart”

redeemedThe REDEEMED!she sheep“But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call out to him”.(Psalm 4:3).

When people are strong in the Lord and speak the word, many do not understand and will say God is’nt in the earth like he was back in biblical times.

Biblical Times are since the world was formed! Jesus says:I am the same yesterday,Today, and Forever……His yesterday started even before biblical times for he is the Only Begotten Son Of God sent from Heaven to redeem a people set apart to show forth his Glory! “As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us”.(Luke 1:70,71).

“And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt(Bondage),from the nations and their gods”.(2 Samuel 7:23).

When a person’s life is changed after seeking the Lord,it starts the True Journey that matters only to the Lord and all the lives they change for the better.

“The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him;and he will shew them his Covenant.Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord;for he shall pluck my feet out of the net”(Snares). (Psalm 25:14,15).net

Jesus was not of the world and neither are his people!

“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth”.(Job:19:25).

The marines have a saying………We are the Few,the Proud, the Marines.

God’s people have a saying……We are the Called,the Humble,the REDEEMED!

“Therefore,my beloved brethren,be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord”.

(1 Corinthians 15:58). peace

  2. This is great Julia! Thank you sharing it with us! I always feel a renewed burst of energy and a warm feeling around my heart when I read your posts. As I was reading Job 19:25, I remembered some lyrics of the song “My Redeemer lives”:

    The very same God
    That spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I’m broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

    I know my Redeemer lives…”

He lives and He guides His children in love and grace! I love you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!

    • Ann……………Join the club.(IT’S A GREAT club) of Believers of the Truth!I too had many friends, but when your called away as people set apart….others sometimes turn away from you, because they don’t understand………There is scripture for this.”For the time past of our life(OUR FORMER LIFESTYLE) may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:Werein THEY THINK IT STRANGE THAT YE RUN NOT WITH THEM to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you.(1 Peter 4:3,4)I now say goodbye to the old worldly life and all that goes with it and Praise and Thank God for his Son Jesus……Guess that makes me a Jesus freak as people say. That’s Great, because the wide path would’nt of taken me to Heaven.God Bless You My Friend.
