My Comment: Remember they just announced that next year there would be 2 blimps over DC. The quote from the article ‘Drones Over DC’ was: “The Pentagon has plans to deploy the giant airships over the Baltimore and Washington, DC area in 2014 in order to patrol the skies more effectively than ground-based radar systems and more inexpensively than manned surveillance planes.” According to Wikipedia U.S. Department of State operates one of the largest face recognition systems in the world with over 75 million photographs that is actively used for visa processing. And they have already used this! “At Super Bowl XXXV in January 2001, police in Tampa Bay, Florida used Viisage facial recognition software to search for potential criminals and terrorists in attendance at the event. 19 people with minor criminal records were potentially identified. And other uses have already been incorporated into our daily lives, like facebook and this “Also, in addition to biometric usages, modern digital cameras often incorporate a facial detection system that allows the camera to focus and measure exposure on the face of the subject, thus guaranteeing a focused portrait of the person being photographed. Some cameras, in addition, incorporate a smile shutter, or take automatically a second picture if someone closed their eyes during exposure.”

(NY Times) WASHINGTON — The federal government is making progress on developing a surveillance system that would pair computers with video cameras to scan crowds and automatically identify people by their faces, according to newly disclosed documents and interviews with researchers working on the project.
The Department of Homeland Security tested a crowd-scanning project called the Biometric Optical Surveillance System — or BOSS — last fall after two years of government-financed development. Although the system is not ready for use, researchers say they are making significant advances. That alarms privacy advocates, who say that now is the time for the government to establish oversight rules and limits on how it will someday be used.

I think this technology is being made ready for the tribulation. During the time that you will have to take the mark of the beast in order to buy or sell, this face recognition equipment will help the enemy focus on those who do not have the mark! It is all coming together!
