Mixed Reactions in the Arab World to Syria Delay

This is what the world (especially the Arab world) is saying about us. Obama toured the middle east, apologized and made promises to honor with costly gifts, like oil, land, and money. Now we have a complete and utter breakdown. With total chaos, death and destruction not seen since WW2. I mean really go beyond the horrific chemical attacks, and look at how much slaughter has taken place in this part of the world in the last year! It’s almost unbelievable. What’s even more unbelievable is that we would fund any of it. Look at the funding we’ve given to the rebels and we know that they have continuously murdered innocent people and slaughtered and tortured Christians. Is this a better way of life than what they had in Syria before the outbreak of chaos? Is this a better way of life than they had under Assad? These are questions we should all be asking. Syria didn’t come close to matching the human rights abuses by other Arab nations, and yet they are calling for Assad to step down? Remember they were calling for this before any chemical attacks. So what is the one thing that would melt hearts around the world, and turn people on Assad? The latest pictures of what’s happened. I think those responsible should be tried, and punished. Not like they did Gadaffi. My heart breaks when I read or see the death of children, the death of innocent people. We have strengthened this war , I feel we have added fuel to the fire. And I hope the Syrian people know that Americans do want to help them, we are not against them. I just want the truth. Praying for the people of Syria. Take the poll I have put at the end. Israel National News has this article today about the reactions from the Arab League and the following is an excerpt from that:

An anonymous rebel leader said, “President Obama is sending contradictory messages. He promised to help, and now promises delays. He first said the using chemicals weapons was a red line … now the red line was crossed, and crossed again… If Congress votes against a military action, it will mean the American people don’t want to help the Syrian people.”

Syrian regime leaders, however, were pleased at the news, and gloated that Obama’s decision was a sign of defeat.
