My comment: This story touched my heart, how a woman faced with death, put all her trust and faith in the Lord! May God comfort this family. Don’t you know what a day they are having in Heaven? Rest in the arms of Jesus!
(KY3 News) OZARK, Mo. — An Ozark, Missouri woman, who sold everything she owned to pay for her funeral, has died.
In May 2011, doctors gave Roxanne Allen two months to live after she was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer slowly starved Allen. She died Friday morning. Allen told us at the garage sale she wasn’t afraid and that ‘God carries me.’
In July, Allen decided to sell off her belongings so her family would not have to pay for her funeral costs. Her story touched so many with people driving long distances to offer support at her vacant lot.
Fraker Funeral Home in Marshfield agreed to pay all of the expenses of her funeral after seeing Allen’s story. Funeral arrangements have yet to made.

It is so sad that people think they have to have funerals. I myself will be having a Memorial Service instead of a funeral. My cousin will be leading it. If the Harpazo does not take place first.

It is sad, the funeral homes are the ones that make money. It never used to be this way. Even a simple burial or cremation is outrageous. But I can only imagine her treasure she is receiving in Heaven today. God Bless.
