What Does God Think? Thoughts From His Word

Note from me: This is an email I received yesterday from a Sister in Christ. She gave me permission to post it. It touched my heart in many ways. It encouraged me, and gave me strength in many ways. I want to share it for your encouragement. As we struggle to make sense of world events, and Scripture, we should always turn to scripture, this will, (quote) ‘Tell us what God thinks.’ Yesterday, before I received this, I kept hearing from Job, ‘Do you know the mind of God?’ The only way, the only way we will know what God is saying or wants for us, or what is coming, is to read what God wrote. Not man, but God. Enjoy. Thank you Sister for sending this.

These are some ‘**thoughts**’ that came to me today and some Bible verses that came to mind as I was putting my thoughts down. I thought others might like, at least, to read the verses, just to refresh their minds. I didn’t check the Bible verses to see if I had them down just the way any particular Bible had them. I was afraid at my age, if I took the time to check I would lose my train of thought as my phone has been ringing almost non-stop today, for some crazy reason . My husband said satan was trying to stop me!! Some of the calls were from people trying to sell me something or ‘give’ me something like an education and I would get all the funds I needed if I would just answer a few questions. I told the man that at my age if I needed any more education I didn’t think any of the schools today could teach me what I might need to know. For him to call Washington and see if they knew of someone that needs help. I must have stunned him because the phone went silent so I hung up. I’m sure though that in a few days that same guy will call back because that same voice has called me just about twice a week with something that he has to ‘give’ me.

Romans 8 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. I Corinthians 2:12,13 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual . John 15:20 “Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.” John 1:1,2 In the beginning was the Word , and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,…. **There is only one truth.** **The Holy Spirit is the only teacher who knows God’s thought behind His WORD. How many different denominations are there, just in the USA alone? Each and everyone of them have different ‘ideas’ of what the Bible says. They all can’t be right. Jesus said a house divided will not stand. He was speaking about the ‘House of God’. All must be in agreement or they aren’t teaching Truth. Man has a tendency to ‘lean unto his own understanding’ and not to what the WORD says. Many claim to have the HOLY SPRIT but when what they claim as coming from their ‘spirit’ does not match up to GOD’s WORD then that ‘spirit’ is not the HOLY SPIRIT.** Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 1 Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: ** Only the HOLY SPIRIT can teach man the TRUTH of the WORD of God!! No man or woman can do so, of themselves. Only through the WORD being revealed to one that has the HOLY SPIRIT ,within them, can the mysteries of the CREATOR be revealed to others. It is not something that one is to charge others for, but is to be given freely ,to all that are seeking the truth. Then many ‘eyes and ears’ will be opened , that they may see and hear,and can attain to the Kingdom of God. It is then that all the mysteries will be revealed. In their lifetime.** I Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept; line upon line, here a little, and there a little: **As we add these verses together we learn, one line at a time. Man has alwys seemed to use his ‘opinion’ more than what the Bible says over the years and now we have the most mixed up group of Christians and doctrines trying to explain what the WORD of GOD says. Now can they all be right? No!! Someone is telling “lies” while claiming they are speaking the words given to them by the HOLY SPIRIT!!! In the end only GOD’s WORD is going to hold “WATER”.**

I**nstead of building our faith up we have come to believe on our opinion’s instead. Yeshua, the cornerstone, has been removed and many have placed themselves as that cornerstone. We haer them all the time speaking word’s that are not what the Bible says. It is what they believe and are using to make money off the gullible by selling them books, movies and standing in the church that they call God’s but is full of lies and everything that God hates!! ** **God gave mankind the WORD and He then gives one understanding. Most though don’t have the right mind to receive the understanding. As long as one thinks with a ‘worldly’ mind he is not going to ‘understand’ the WORD of GOD. Spiritual and worldly do not grasp the same things.** **When one gets down to it it is as GOD says and not as we say. One can try to ‘change’ things but with GOD it is as He says. So, one can’t change anything that God has said. He allows one to go ahead and believe as they wish as we all have been given free-will until we make the descion to turn that free-will over to GOD. When The HOLY SPIRIT starts to really teach one then most of one’s preconceived ideas, or what man has taught them, has to change in most cases. One has to relearn what their new ‘teacher’ is teaching them. A whole new understanding is then ‘opened’ up and they see more clearly just what the parables that Yeshua said really mean.** 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: **Most people listen to their own spirit instead of the HOLY SPIRIT and then wonder why what they said the holy spirit told them didn’t come true!! ** Luke 13:24-27 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. **Many churches are basically carnal minded because they don’t mind the “things of the Spirit!” “Following after” involves more than just hearing the Lord.** Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit

Thank u Doris so true, so true the Lord is stirring up our lives in the right direction, it only happens if we let our spirits listen to His Holy Spirit. Holy holy is our lord God Almighty..Who is like he?
