My Comment: These numbers are astronomical, 25 million! 25 million of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ are either fleeing for their lives, imprisoned, beheaded, hanged, tortured, or raped. All for their belief in Christ! Pray that this committee can shed some light on this darkness. Have we in the west become so bogged down, and blind that we can’t see the great tribulation facing these dear ones? Have we become so calloused and self centered that we don’t care? God have mercy on us. Pray for the persecuted without ceasing.
(AINA) — The Middle East Christian Committee (MECHRIC) in Washington confirmed that an “emergency leadership meeting of NGOs will be held in Europe” early November. The conference will be held in a country member of the European Union and will gather delegates from various Middle East Christian organizations including Copts, Maronites, Assyrians (also known as Chaldeans, Syriacs), other Mideast Christians as well as other international NGOs.
A member of MECHRIC, who wished to remain anonymous, said “With the various developments in the Arab Spring, Middle East Christians, numbering around 25 million inside the region, have been submitted to violence and ethnic cleansing in Syria, Iraq and Egypt, in addition to political repression in Lebanon, Iran and Sudan. MECHRIC and its affiliates decided to launch an international outreach in order to inform decisions centers in the West about the gravity of the situation and consult with these actors about potential initiatives.”

I Am Not Ashamed Of The Gospel Of Christ! 
I knew that persecution was increasing but I guess I didn’t guess the number to be 25 million fleeing for their lives! My dear God please help them! We must pray for our brothers and sisters and not cease to lift them up continually! It is all headed here soon and we will need prayers also.
