My Comment: There’s usually a reason for everything that happens these days. What a novel idea to announce that the Biggest name in America; Amazon will be flying drones to deliver your packages to your front door. Is this a campaign to have Americans get used to seeing drones fly in their neighborhoods without push back? It wouldn’t be the first time that the entertainment/advertising industry was used for propaganda.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos says 30-minute package delivery by drones are the way of the future. Bezos unveiled the “Octocopter” drone his research-and-development team is working on during an interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes” on Sunday. The company hopes it will be able to fly purchases directly to customers’ doors via “Prime Air” drones within four to five years. RT’s Meghan Lopez takes a look at why delivery drones might be a pie-in-the-sky dream for the online retail behemoth.
