Prophecy In The Headlines: Saudi Arabia gives $3 billion to strengthen Lebanese army

My Comment: It’s hard to work through the web of who’s doing what and who is for who, but remember it was in September where Kerry said Saudi Arabia would fund an attack on Assad, when Obama was getting ready to attack. Read here. It appears that Saudi Arabia’s anger at the US for backing down has sent it elsewhere. But remember that Israel’s border has come under attack in the last few day’s from Lebanon. Now remember Hezbollah in Lebanon is backed by Shiite Iran. Lebanon is 27% Sunni. And Lebanon has made a point recently by saying that Hezbollah does not control the Lebanese Army. (Read here) So one thing is clear, the lines are being drawn, and battle plans are being laid. Are we about to witness WW3 & the 6th trumpet war? Or is this the beginning of the fall of Babylon(Read Revelation 17&18). This is a ‘Holy War’ as not seen since the 7th century. And the west is adding fuel to the fire.

(Fox News) Lebanon’s president said Sunday that Saudi Arabia has pledged $3 billion to buy weapons from France to help support and strengthen the Lebanese army.

President Michel Sleiman made the surprise announcement, which he called the largest-ever pledge for Lebanon’s army, in a televised national address. He did not provide any further details, but said French President Francois Hollande was to discuss the matter during his visit Sunday to Saudi Arabia.

“I am happy to tell the Lebanese people that the Saudi ruler will give a grant of $3 billion to strengthen the army,” Sleiman said, according to a quotes published by the state news agency. “The Saudi grant will allow the Lebanese army to purchase weapons from France.”
