Prophecy In the Headlines: “Surrender To Iran” & “They Can’t Defeat Us”

“Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him? ” (Rev. 13)

Well the deal with Iran is finished. One would expect celebrations for sanctions to be lifted. One would not expect speeches complete with shaking fists in the air, and screaming ‘We have defeated the West, they have bowed to our will.’ One would not expect vitriol, yet that is what we have. More of the same hate speech. The President of Iran has tweeted and rallied that the US has bowed to Iran and it’s will. There is a General from Iran (Iranian Army Commander General Ataollah Salehi) say’s that the ‘Enemy’ is not able to confront us, that is why they turned to talks.(More) First of all, the ‘Enemy’? I thought everyone had made nice and new friends. Doesn’t look like enemies to me.

But then this whole charade was propaganda for the world. They say that America has collapsed politically, economically and militarily. We have only ourselves to blame for that, for we, by voting blind, have aided in the take down of all these areas of our country. But that’s not really what captured me about the rhetoric out of Iran. They are putting on quite the propaganda show. What captured my attention was that the recent events seem to be coming straight out of Revelation.

Revelation 13 describes the Beast rising up out of the sea, ‘Like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and mouth like the mouth of a lion.’ You can find each of these elements in the recent talks and even in the above picture. With Russia in the background. ‘And I saw one of his heads wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And All the world marveled and followed the beast.’ So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; saying, “Who is like this beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

So yes, this headline sent chills down my spine. And it does indeed appear that the whole world marvelled at Iran saying ‘We will talk who can make war against them?’ Did you know that Iran’s shia population, in their beliefs, believe that there will be a beast rise out of the sea also? They do, only they believe they are to run to this beast and take his mark, or they will die. You can’t make that up. So it brings new meaning to the prophecy. And the words: He was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty two months. And then ‘He opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.’ What greater Blaspheme has come out of mouths, than ‘There is no God but Allah, or God has no Son, or Jesus will return to break the cross and kill the Christians?’ Well you can read the rest, but I got to tell you this prophecy does not have to be interpreted or twisted to see how it fits into recent events. Couple that with what is going on in Israel, and you begin to see the pages of Revelation coming to life.
