“NO Condemnation In Christ”

first How many of us had a parent say if you don’t have anything nice to say then say nothing. These words hold biblical truth to them, because if we speak out of turn our words could condemn us while kind words the body of Christ. Sometimes the word of God is not taken well if one is living in sin though, But it is still the truth in the word of God.For to stand on our word is to stand for what we believe in. “But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, be nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. To be of your word in this life means alot and if the words you speak are from scripture it will stand for ever.

Jesus gives us the freedom from being condemned when we are born again and are then considered to be in the body of Christ. The body of Christ is a many membered unit and all are in agreement with what the unit stands for and in this case it’s the truth of a sovereign God! “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh , but after the Spirit”.
(Romans 8:1-4).

No one likes to be condemned for whatever reason, But as a Believer we soon learn that we walk the steps as our Saviour also did. Many lose hope and faith when condemned for the truth they stand for yet without it our faith is not being tried at all as God is refining us to be a better vessel to serve him. There are those who are willing to walk in the light of Gods knowledge and others will continue their walk in darkness. “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil”.
(John 3:17-19).

If we choose the justice of God then he who knows our hearts will protect us from anyone who is set on harming us in any way, and their actions will not come to pass for the evil they have planned. “The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgement. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged”.(Psalm 37:30-33). For those who want to live contrary to the truth of the holy word of God it always seems they get very upset and hurtful, because the word is convicting them of the sin they want to stay in. The word always shines a light on the dark deeds people try to hide! “In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you”. (Titus 2:7,8).

  1. Not Ashamed……How true that the truth that sets one free is a bondage to those who will not turn from sin…..Christ has so many gifts for us and it’s hard to understand people will pass by them. God Bless this website of the truth.

  2. Amen Julia! We are condemned by the world because we have chosen the truth and the justice of God. But Jesus warned us of this. And we’re told to remember if they hate us, they hated him first. And also if we are loved by the world than we are of the world, You can not serve God and Man both. And yes, it’s true more and more that men love the darkness instead of the light of truth. Thank you for speaking the truth.
