My Comment:  They are reporting this is the worst drought in 500 years.   They say this drought is unique from all the rest in it’s severity.

Things are so scarce that the sheriff’s office is on alert for water bandits. During the 2009-10 drought, authorities caught thieves pumping water from Lake Mendocino into trucks. The reservoir is currently about 37 percent full, according to county officials.

“Water theft is a big concern, so we’re doing public announcements and have a line to call for reports to the sheriff’s department,” said Carre Brown, a Mendocino County supervisor. “All deputies are on the watch.”

Watch this video from You tube.  I think maybe they have a point.  I remember when there was an uproar from citizens when California started this water diversion program to protect endangered fish.  This video is from CBS This Morning posted today and titled:  Water wars: California drought spawns political fight.  I find that when man tries to control things which God has control over, you find extremes like this.
