My Comment: So the UN Peacekeeping forces feel the need to fire on citizens? Many of the wounded were innocent bystanders. I understand the need for peace and forces from the UN, but this is outrageous. Again, the question rises, what is going on in the CAR? When the new president was sworn in, after she left the event, within minutes soldiers of the army she was introducing beat a man to death and dragged him through the streets. This is the idea of justice? These are the forces the UN is entrusting peace of CAR to? The UN has recently called for more peacekeeping forces, and it appears these same forces that couldn’t be controlled unless France stepped in, is in control now. Who is watching the watchers? Religious leaders are calling for calm, they portray a different picture. The media is still portraying this as a hatred between the Muslims and the Christians. These are the same peoples that lived side by side for years. Then came Djotidia and the Seleka. A recent report shows Christians and Muslims fighting together in Seleka groups. And it shows the Anti-Balaka as ex-military. So what is the truth? Pray for the people of the CAR.
