This is something that weighs very heavy on my heart.  At times the MSM here has made a circus out of what they say is the ‘Rights’ and Republicans war on women.  You see in this country women and pro choice organizations are saying that we have waged a war on women’s rights, and are oppressing them, because as Christians we don’t feel Abortion is right, or we don’t feel that we should pay for this, or someones birth control.  Remember Sandra Fluke?  I am ashamed to be called an American woman.  When you see what is happening to women in middle eastern countries and even this country, you too will feel that way.  I have one thing to say to American women.  Shame on you!  What if you faced even one of these things these women face.

What if you couldn’t go to the grocery store unless a male relative went with you.  What if you were beat because someone saw you in public with an inch of your skin showing.  What if you were accused of adultery, and faced stoning for this.  This is just a few things these women are facing.  There is genital mutilation also.  In Saudi Arabia women can’t drive because it will affect their pelvis and childbearing.  There is a movie now called ‘Honor Diaries’ about what muslim women face and how they are abused.  And in this country, the only outcry it’s getting is from CAIR, saying this is just hate speech, and just people trying to propagate ‘Islamaphobia.’  Really?  This is true, it is happening, and where is the outcry from women in the west?  Where are the womens rights groups?

Honor Diaries, a film about women’s rights, features nine courageous women’s rights advocates with connections to Muslim-majority societies. These women, who have witnessed firsthand the hardships women endure, are profiled in their efforts to affect change, both in their communities and beyond.

The film gives a platform to exclusively female voices and seeks to expose the paralyzing political correctness that prevents many from identifying, understanding and addressing this international human rights disaster. Freedom of movement, the right to education, forced marriage, and female genital mutilation are some of the systematic abuses explored in depth.

I saw a woman from CAIR in an interview on Fox News, who claimed to be a muslim, an American woman, and she was stating how hateful this film was and how it was spreading Islamaphobia.  It seems when these things start to reach the eyes of the public, then the hate campaign comes out.  Parading women around, saying things like ‘See I’m a muslim woman and I’m not treated like that.’  Or ‘I can dress like I want or act like I want.’ And the truth is a lot of the muslim women in the US do have more freedoms than those in other countries.  There is a war on women waging and it’s not in the US, it’s in the middle east, and growing in Britain.  In Britain, there are modesty patrols much like the police in the middle east, whose job it is to find and judge and punish muslim women who aren’t meeting the modesty rules of Sharia Law.  I have also seen muslim women working here in the US and they were dressed much like these women in the video.  The only difference was more of their face was showing.  The women I have seen have an air of fear, and shame about them.  We should be ashamed for allowing this to happen in our back yard.  These women have rights.  They have all the rights afforded by us here in the US.  God loves them all.  Slavery in the 21st Century should be non-existent, yet it is not.  I ask WHY?  And more importantly why are the women of this country silent while women are abused in this manner.  Ask yourself these questions, and speak out.  Educate yourself on this, watch the whole video, speak out to representatives to demand that our leaders address this in the UN.  Speak out to your church leaders.  Jesus say’s this is the greatest of all commandments that you love one another as I have loved you.  So where is the love for these women, where is the compassion, where is the outrage for the abuse and persecution these women and even children face daily.  Pray for women and children under this oppressive rule.  And as Sharia creeps into the west and yes even the US, is this what you want for your Granddaughters or daughters?
