With so many coining the phrase your not suppose to judge it leaves a door wide open for evil and wickedness to enter a life. The truth of God’s word tells us to make sound judgements for even God himself loves judgement. “For I the Lord love judgement, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people; all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed”.(Isaiah 61:8,9).
We would have no peace in our lives by not judging a matter justly. God expects us to make the right discernment in any situation or wickedness would have full run over us when the wicked rule. “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear, so is a wicked ruler over the poor people”.(Proverbs 28:1,15). “Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgement: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor”.(Leviticus 19:15).
The address of Moses was that he appointed different men to hear many cases and to make righteous judgements in the matters presented to him. “And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him. Ye shall not respect persons in judgement; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgement is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it”.(Deuteronomy 1:16,17).
Our land would be overtaken with murderers and thieves if they were not reprimanded, God explains this very clearly of the faithful city becoming as a harlot and judgement was not carried out in the land. Zion (Heaven) will be redeemed with righteousness and judgement which God loves! “How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgement; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. Zion shall be redeemed with judgement, and her converts with righteousness. And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the Lord shall be consumed”.(Isaiah 1:21,25-28).
It is unacceptable in the eyes of God to allow wickedness to be uncontrolled! “Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course”.(Psalm 82:2-5).
