I heard today that one of the reasons the mainstream media will not cover the persecution of Christians is because Obama is silent on this. The newscaster said that until he takes a stand they are afraid to touch it, and I agree with them. Obama refuses to speak out against persecution of Christians. He refuses to acknowledge that Christians are being persecuted by islamists, he still refuses to acknowledge that Islam is violent. He is still privately or publicly backing the islamist rebels in Syria, and the rest of the middle east and Africa. Look what he did in Egypt. He was instrumental in placing the muslim brotherhood in power. And Libya is a total disaster, as Christian executions escalate in the country, even blaming the killing of our ambassador and others on a really bad movie, instead of calling it like it was.
When you start out a holy day, like Good Friday where we honor the day our Savior died, with a international news agency headlining their show with ‘Christianity under attack.’ Something is terribly wrong. David Cameron had this to say about Christian Persecution, and he know’s first hand the struggle his country is in, with islam and violence increasing dramatically there.
And as we celebrate Easter, let’s also think of those who are unable to do so, the Christians around the world who are ostracised, abused — even murdered — simply for the faith they follow. Religious freedom is an absolute, fundamental human right.
Britain is committed to protecting and promoting that right, by standing up for Christians and other minorities, at home and abroad. Our hearts go out to them, especially at this special time of year.(David Cameron)

Images can’t even begin to portray what is happening in the middle east. I have seen so many, too many images of death, starvation, destruction, and slaughter. We must never let this go silent again. This has reached epic proportions. I have talked to one brother whose family was slaughtered in Syria, simply for their Faith in Christ. They died for Christ. Still other brothers are fleeing for their lives, and their families lives. Christianity is in a full frontal assault, and still America is silent on this. The government is silent, the churchs are silent. There are those who say we are not suppose to speak out. Those are sadly misguided. We in this country will face what our brothers and sisters face, it’s a matter of time. As we who are watching see our faith being attacked from all sides, in this country. We are still free compared to other countries, we can still worship freely in our church’s. Yet many remain silent and watch as our freedoms are stripped one by one. And there is a deafening silence about the slaughter that is taking place on the other side of the world. Yes, this is prophecied, but we can’t be complicit. There is only one verse in the Bible I am concerned with that tells us this is wrong. And that is Jesus when he judges: ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ “These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Paul tells us to remember those suffering and in bonds, as if we are with them. Yet so many forget, so many turn their heads, so many ignore it. This is really happening, it’s time to look, it’s time to speak, it’s time to open our eyes. It’s time to call out and say enough. And before you forget, let’s make the celebration of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Savior count. Let’s all with one voice look up to the throne, and ask for protection, peace and comfort for our brothers and sisters suffering. And most of all let us not forget, that this belief and faith is what made America great. We are that shining light on the hill, it’s time we uncovered that light.
