How many of us who have experienced the saving grace of God go on to wonder why no matter how much we want others to receive his blessed message it seems to fall on deaf ears and hardened heart’s? So just why does this happen? after all we’re talking about soul’s that will be able to live for all eternity and never will die, who wouldn’t want that? Scripture tells us clearly why this happens and it will help us to better understand the next time we see the message go unheard by others. “But exhort one another daily, while it is called To-day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end; While it is said, To-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation”.(Hebrews 3:13-15). Did you catch it? It is sin that blinds us and it is what hardens many hearts and closes ears to hearing the message of hope we are trying to tell. We too were as there before being saved and can now look back and say I can’t believe I lived like that or I did that, yet while we lived in sin we too were blind and hardened from the truth of God found only in Christ! It’s not that they don’t want the message, it’s that sin is more pleasurable than what is on the narrow path.
A hardened heart that is not easily receptive is living for the same carrot held out to Christ that all this can be yours if you come and worship me……Christ did not take that bait from satan, nor does those who have seen through eyes of faith the bigger picture that eternal life far out weigh’s anything from this temporary world. One may ask if we’re saved then why does God allow us to remember our sin we were saved from and the reason is so we know exactly what he saved us from and just how it’s ways would have led us to death and not life! and to not go back and repeat it. We are to put off the old man (Old Life) and put on the newness of life we now live in Christ.
How many times have I seen those who by the grace of God been saved only to return to the old life and think nothing of it. It is written the flesh holds no honour for any of us. It is what’s done for Christ that will last. “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh”. (Colossians 2:20-23).
The story of Moses is most encouraging to the Believer, for although he was called by God would go on and stand before the hardened heart of Pharoah many times as in the end it was God’s perfect plan that would come to pass. We too are sent to a rebellious and hardened people which the deceitfulness of sin has blinded, but remember the Israelites were freed from bondage and the preaching of the cross still free’s people today! The angel’s still rejoice over one soul that is saved and there was a time it was our unsaved soul that came back to the one who died for us!

Pam………… So true the words you speak as people go through their lives there is no evidence God is a part of it, yet there they are on Sunday to worship for an hour. The true church of Christ is becomming more and more apparent in these last day’s that it truly is the body of Christ church built through the Holy Spirit which have ears to hear and eyes to see that serve the one true God evey day and not just an hour a week. God Bless You.

I fear there are many counterfeit Christians in the church today. They hear the word and receive it with joy but turn back to their former life. We have so watered down the gospel message, especially in the Baptist church, that we can live in rebellion toward God and not worry one second about it. Where is the fear? We are told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling but there is very little evidence of that today. Also, I am simply amazed that people, who call themselves Christians cannot, or won’t, look around and know we are living at the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ann………….We all know them who speak of God out one side of their mouth as they do opposite the will of God as though he would never know. Isaiah says it best. “Wherefore the Lord said, forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and fear toward me is taught by the precept of men”.(Isaiah 29:13). How many fill a pew on Sunday only to set their hand to live actions most unholy? God Bless You Ann.

Albert, http://WWW……... How very true Albert, as many celebrate on the 4th of July there will be once again millions of dollars spent for celebrating as the poor go without! Even though they celebrate and say let freedom ring it is their heart still kept captive to the world as their soul has no freedom without Christ. God Bless You.

Around the fourth of July, 2014, we must seal the chinks in our armor:
Revelation 2:
9 “‘I your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.’
Revelation 13:
9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear:
10 If anyone is to be taken captive,
to captivity he goes;
if anyone is to be slain with the sword,
with the sword must he be slain.
Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
