Yes, Even You Have To Follow The Law

Many have heard of the Supreme Court ruling on the contraceptive mandate of Obamacare. How many have heard the Supreme Court ruled against the President on his recess appointments?

Recess Ruling Blow To White House

The U.S. Supreme Court has unanimously voted to limit President Barack Obama’s authority to bypass Congress and make recess appointments to high-level government positions.

My take on this is, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid “worked” with the President to manipulate the rules to their advantage. Or so they thought.

Proverbs 11:20-21 reads

20 They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

  1. Great Post as this sheds the light that even the President is not above the Laws he claims to stand for and the laws of God will reign supreme! Nothing worse than the viewing of the haughty who thinks they are above anyone nor anything. God Bless You.

  2. Great post Chuck. Yes even the President has to follow the law, unfortunately he didn’t get that memo. I am constantly reminded of a verse in Proverbs also When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. And yes those who are difficult to deal with and contrary are an abomination to the Lord. In fact God tells us there is 6 even 7 things that are an abomination to the Lord:
These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
    17 A proud look,
    A lying tongue,
    Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
    Thanks for sharing this!
