Kerry, UN chief head to Cairo to negotiate Israel

cease-fire

Islamic militants fired more rockets and Israeli planes continued to strike homes in Gaza Monday as the United Nations chief and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry headed to Cairo for a new round of negotiations to end two weeks of deadly fighting in the Jewish state.

Kerry and U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon are hoping talks in Egypt will result in a cease-fire after days of air and ground assaults have left 20 Israelis and 510 Palestinians dead and tens of thousands driven from their homes in Gaza.

  1. Not Ashamed……………Yes! Prayer for Israel is in order and the body of Christ must unite as never before. So true your comment……it didn’t work back in 2012 and it won’t again for the simple fact God is not in the middle of the decision. God Bless You.

  2. Oh my, why doesn’t that make me feel better? They are seeking a truce based on the one in 2012? Yes, that worked so well didn’t it. They’re goal is to destroy Israel. They will not form lasting peace. The scriptures tell us that in Psalm 83. Together they conspire against God’s people with one mind to remove the name of Israel so it will be no more. It’s happening, just as God revealed to His prophets. Nothing is new under the sun. Well, we know one thing for sure, God is in control! Praying for Israel.
