Making Sense Out Of A Crumbling America

We are not for sensationalism, or adding fuel to a fearful fire that spreads fear, hatred and chaos.  And I have watched and read with sober intent the immigration crises unfold.  The collapse of our southern borders, and the massive amount of children flooding across.  I have held a quiet restraint from commenting as I watch a nightmarish situation unfold.  I hear about those who die on their quest and have seen the horrific images.  I see the fema camps these children are being held in, I see the hoardes of those from Africa, and the middle east coming also.  I see the fears on both sides.  The one thing that strikes me most is the diseases being brought across, and the exploitation of innocent children.  We all should know by now this administration has paraded children in front of cameras since the beginning.  Now to use these innocents in this manner is loathsome, at the least.

Congress is scrambling with new and old bills to find a solution, while the current administration is rolling full speed ahead with a Cloward-Piven like strategy that will end America as we know it, and bring about the change coveted by this administration and previous progressives.  They have plotted and planned and waited a long time to bring this about, and in essence told our lawmakers that they can come along or be left behind.  The rhetoric aimed at our congress lately is bordering on hate.  They were told in recent days, you either conform or I will do it without you while you are on vacation.  One quote I read this morning say’s that Obama will have his tower of Babel.  I found this extremely interesting even coming from Pat Buchanan.  He questions that if all are allowed to come they will remake America into their own image.  It seems this is what the President wants.  He vowed to fundamentally transform America and he is doing just that.  Millions of Americans are out of work or underemployed thanks to his policies.  The middle east and Africa are on fire and in total chaos thanks to his foreign policies.  He is decimating our military as we speak while other countries are beefing up their’s.  He is weakening us while the rest of the world is strengthening.  And yet many refuse to acknowledge what is transpiring.

Ohio is under emergency orders with the National Guard handing out water, as Lake Erie has a toxin of which they describe as an algae bloom and even boiling will not help.  California and Washington have forest fires raging, the heartland of the country has seen record low temperatures with a polar vortex in the summer.  The deadly Ebola virus is threatening to spread over the world.  And fears spread along with it.  A woman was sickened on a flight to England and died spreading fears that she carried Ebola.  There are unconfirmed reports that this is being carried across our Southern border, along with tuberculosis, and other diseases.  I do know that tuberculosis has long been a problem with imigrants from Mexico in part due to their lack of proper medicine and testing.  But what do we do?  The protest erupting and pushing immigrants back is just what this administration wants.  They want civil unrest, in fact they wait for it.  The America we grew up in is no longer.  Our children and grand-children will never know what we had.  As the history books are being rewritten.

Laws are being rewritten with the stroke of a presidential pen, and attitudes are being forced upon Americans.  The push back that Congress is able to do is met with hatred, and hate speech.  It only emboldens the progressives.  As they circle the wagons even closer to defend their leader.

As I speak with friends, relatives and readers one common theme comes up again and again.  While we recognize the desperation of those coming into our country, we can’t help but wonder why there isn’t more of a response to those in war ravaged areas like Syria, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, and others.  These people are fleeing for their very lives.  Look at Iraq, there has been a cleansing of Christians there that the world has not seen.  We all have the same question, is this crises at our Southern border done by design not only to bring down what America was, but to prevent aiding those under severe persecution in the above mentioned countries.  Already we are seeing agencies that used to be forthcoming in aiding the poor close down and tighten to the point they are refusing to help.  Some of the Christian communities in America are trying to help, but are turned away by the government agencies claiming to house and protect children.  I don’t know what the answer is, but I do know that a fearful, send them back response is not the answer.  I am in careful prayer and concern as I watch these horrific events unfold.

  1. So many are seeing just one side to this and that there’s only one answer which is to just send back these children, and not realizing as a country founded on Christian moral’s the choice is to apply the word’s of Christ in this situation which is no different than the man who fell prey to thieves and was stripped and wounded and left for dead………………….Christ answer should be today as he said after A PRIEST, LEVITE, walked n by as though it was not their concern…..The GOOD SAMARITAN knew what to do for the stranger he happened upon. “Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do likewise”.(Luke 10:36,37). The teachings of Christ has not changed one iota and shame on a nation full of churches claiming to be serving Christ saying send them back they are not our concern. REALLY so the question once again arises as the lawyer asked AND WHO IS MY NEIGBOR?
God Bless all who see the opportunity to act upon the Christian morals of mercy for all are our neighbor in need no matter where on earth. We cannot help those who are leaders taking a step back from doing God’s will, it is up to those of us to consider the teaching and morals we should be applying here.
