Prayer For The Persecuted: Body Of Christ It’s Time To Pray

'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

God has placed many in my path recently, through others, through news and through visions and the Holy Spirit.  This is for those facing persecution, those fleeing persecution and those who have fled attempting to find a peaceful land to worship God without fear of persecution.  Many of our dear brothers and sisters have left all behind including family members.  Many have lost family left behind.  My heart breaks for these precious souls.

We can not forget them, I know many are praying, but many are not.  Many leaders in the western church’s are not acknowledging this.  I hear from many who say “Why have we been forgotten?”  I hear from many who say they can feel it when we pray for them.  They say the Spirit gives them a renewed strength.  It’s our duty to unite as one in the ‘Body of Christ’ to stand in solidarity with them.  I’ve heard it said this command is not in the Bible, but that could not be farther from the truth.  When you read the scriptures in the Spirit, and let the Holy Spirit guide you you see a clear picture of the commands to remember those persecuted.  Whether jailed for faith, marked for death, or torture, rape and forced conversions.

Remember Persecuted

I am asking today for you to remember those fleeing and those that they have left behind.  Asking that you ask God to open doors and send people who can help them reach safety and reunite with family and a Body of Christ.  I am asking that you pray for conviction so that these may reach safety.  Conviction for persecutors as well as those in power in embassies around the world, that they may have their eyes opened and reach out to help.  Asking for conviction of world leaders to end the genocide that is taking place not only for Christians but other minorities as well.  Asking for God to remove scales from the eyes of those who are lost and even the persecutors, so that they may see the love of God and turn from wickedness.

Asking for prayer for conviction for the agencies that can help but are refusing to help.  Whatever the reason, there are those who are refusing.  Asking for conviction for those in plague ridden areas to show compassion, comfort and empathy instead of fear.  Asking for healing for those experiencing grief for those who gave the ultimate price for their Faith in Christ.

It’s time for the Body of Christ to unite!  Let us today and always flood the Throne room of God with prayers from the saints united in Christ!   You are not forgotten, you are not alone!  Let’s show the Love of Christ to the World!  The world lost and drenched in wickedness, Christ is waiting with open arms, and to the body that is persecuted remember Christ’s words:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28: 19-20
