The Middle East is becoming darker by the day.  Now this, in Yemen.  Rebels have evidently over-ran the government and the government is rapidly losing control.  This will mean that the rebels have gained control of yet another country.  Yemen plays a big part in the Shiite eschatology.

Al-Mahdi Ahmad (1633 – July 10, 1681) was an Imam of Yemen, who ruled in 1676–1681. He belonged to the Qasimid  family that was descended from Muhammad.

It’s also in the bible as ‘Sheba’.    Ezekiel 38:13  I rarely use commentary on the Bible, as I use the guidance and understanding of the Holy Spirit, but in this case I will use this commentary:

Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its young lions, shall say to thee, {h} Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

(h) One enemy will envy another because everyone will think to have the spoil of the Church.
