Can An Islamic Nation be A Democratic Nation??

Without sensationalism, let’s look at some things that are very disturbing or at least should be to Christians and secular peoples alike.

Foreign policy magazine recently published a debate from different authors on whether or not Islam is a peaceful religion. Even when the bottom line shows it is not.

Take away all the violence throughout the ages, take away God’s word that tells us that Ishmael’s people will be wild and always against their brother and you see not only violence but no freedom at all.

It’s ruled by strict barbaric laws. It has a prophet that says to follow this law verses say Christianity whose Messiah says “love each other more than yourselves.” And if they won’t listen to the Gospel shake the dust off your feet and move on. Not kill all unbelievers.
When you study both you clearly find different pictures of truth and the one true God.

You cannot have a country with a democratic view of freedoms and choices in a Muslim nation like Iraq.
A fierce battle has ensued over control.

One President thought putting Shiite Muslims in power was the answer. Another wants democracy, our President and others have been praising a democratic Iraq. But, there are disturbing reports surfacing not only of violence beyond comprehension but a creeping of Sharia law not democracy.

Listing religion on personal documents is not new to Islamic nations. Even on passports in these nations their religion is listed. Pakistan does this, but they don’t insist or mark newborns birth certificate as a Muslim.

In Islam if your father is a Muslim, you are Muslim.
In Islamic nations if you marry outside your religion, than honor killings become an option. It happens time and time again.

Look at Saudi Arabia, Pakistan & Iran they claim people have choices but quickly arrest or execute opposition to the leadership or barbaric laws. I could go on and on, But this is as simple as it gets. Cut through all the flowery words, the politically correct left the propaganda of groups like CAIR and this is what you get:

Democracy and Islam are like vinegar and water. They don’t mix!
