Iran, we know tortures and aressts it’s citizens every day, especially those who speak out. This is a political prisoner who was aressted with his wife. We have learned through others that Hunger strikes are the only way these prisoners gain attention. The more we share the more Iran pays attention. He is protesting for his wife’s release. Please pray for them.
(VOCIR )We have just learned that Arash Sadeghi a political prisoner in Iran, is in critical condition and those close fear death is iminent. Arash and his wife are both in prison in Iran as political activists. Iran abuses and violates freedoms and Human rights torturing it’s citizens. And imprisoning them on false charges.
(Ihr.org) Sadeghi, 36, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2015 for “assembly and collusion against national security,” “propaganda against the state,” “spreading lies in cyberspace,” and “insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic.” His wife Golrohk Iraee, 35, was also given a six-month prison sentence for “insulting the sacred” and “propaganda against the state.” The cases were presided by Judge Mohammad Moghisseh of Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court.
The Appeals Court upheld Sadeghi and Iraee’s sentences on December 22, 2015. (Read more)
He has been on a hunger strike for 64 days and his health is deteriorating rapidly. We are told he is vomiting blood. Please speak out for Arash and his wife. Pray for them.
